Dr. Aura Caldera
Dr. Aura Caldera is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and later joined New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center as a post-doctoral resident to pursue a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Caldera held the position of Chief Resident and gained profound experience in treating medically compromised children with extensive dental needs. Since completing her residency, Dr. Caldera maintains her affiliation and hospital privileges with Columbia University Medical Center. Additionally, she holds an academic appointment at New York University College of Dentistry where she serves as program coordinator and clinical faculty with international dental outreach development. This program enables Dr. Caldera to use her time and skills to provide free education and dental care to children in impoverished countries.
Dr. Caldera understands that childhood is the best time to instill good oral hygiene practices and to shape positive attitudes towards dental treatment. She focuses on keeping up with the most current dental technology, materials and techniques allowing her to provide optimal care to her patients.
Dr. Caldera’s professional affiliations include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
Dr. Caldera resides in Northern New Jersey with her husband Michael, their daughter Ariana and their son Joaquin.
